Dr. Michel Andraos

Dr. ​Michel Andraos, is Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Saint Paul University, Ottawa, Canada (2020), and was an Associate Professor of Intercultural Theology and Ministry, Catholic Theological Union (CTU) at Chicago (2000-2020).
A native of Lebanon, Michel has been teaching at CTU since 2000 and spends his time between Chicago and Montreal, where he lives with his family. Michel’s areas of research, publication, and teaching include: religion, violence and peace; interreligious dialogue; and intercultural theology. The focus of his current research is on the relations of the churches with the Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Another important area of academic interest and research for him is the Christian communities of the Middle East in the late modern European colonial period.
