Dr. Christo El Morr earned a Ph.D. in Health Informatics from Compiègne University of Technology (1997) and Bachelor of Theology from Saint Serge Orthodox Institute in Paris (2013). He published a number of theological books that links faith to the daily lived experiences, human freedom and social justice, and critical theology that seeks to dismantle the schism between religious thought and practical application through a dualistic religious and humanist approach. He has one collection of poems entitled "Words for lostlessness ... a lover for exile"(2018). In science, he has published books and articles on computer applications in health, such as e-mental health, chronic disease management, human rights, the rights of persons with disabilities, and violence against women. Currently he is a professor York University, Toronto, Canada.
He has published in the Orthodox Al-Noor Magazine, Al-Adab art magazine, and a number of Lebanese newspapers, articles pertaining to culture, liberation and resistance theology, human freedom, violence and non-violence, faith and the public sphere, and the Palestinian cause. |
